Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to lead their lives with independence, autonomy and happiness. To help our participants achieve these goals, we are always on the lookout for empathetic people who are passionate about delivering disability support with a person-centred approach.

In addition, we ask for the following requirements:

  • Certification III or IV in Disability, Youth, Individual Support or Aged Care
  • Two years’ industry experience
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Current Certificate
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Driver’s licence
  • Flexible availability from Monday to Sunday

      This information should include any relevant experience, qualifications and interests.

      If you meet our mandatory requirements, we will forward via SMS a survey for you completion.
    • Face-To-Face Interviews
      We will invite you to join an in-person interview so that we can get to know each other better!

    Employee Training

    The NDIS’ online training course helps new employees understand its code of conduct, quality and safeguards. Please complete this 90-minute course before your first day at Songbird.

    We also provide on-the-job and specialized training to all staff for progression to higher roles!
